Meet Jack!

Jack is 18 months old and just the coolest little dude. His parents, Amanda & Christian, used to live right around the corner from us so I have known them since what I call "BK"(before kids). =) As a matter of fact, I do believe Amanda promised to make me a cake once and has yet to follow through... but now I'm starting to wonder if perhaps she never agreed to such a thing and maybe it was just me wanting cake..NEVERTHELESS! These guys are good people and I was jazzed to get to finally photograph little Jack and his family.

Hailey Turns 6! (Uncle B Strikes Again) - Pleasanton Family Photography - Pleasanton, CA

Hello!!

Well, I have been super duper slacking in blogging my work but hey! It's summer, I have been shooting a lot and in an effort to spend some more time off the computer blogging has taken a back seat. =)I do miss it, however. Sharing my work is really an important way to show you people what I have been up to so I'm going to try and pick out some stuff from the last few months and blog it in the next few weeks. Lots of good stuff to post.

This post here is dedicated to Hailey. For those who don't know, Hailey is the now 6 year old daughter of 2 really good friends of mine. I think the first time I met Hailey's mom, I was about Hailey's age because there are photos of us in Kindergarten (Walt Disney!). I'm feeling quite old right now. I have been "Uncle B" to Hailey since she was born and I hope to always be. =)

A Multi-Family Session! - Danville Family Photography - Danville, CA

Well, I am SUPER behind on blogging images but I recently photographed this awesome folks and wanted to share some images while I had a minute!
Meet Larry & Judit and they are responsible for all of these wonderful grandchildren you see here! They are parents to 3 lovely daughters who in turn have grown up and started their own families to include all of these awesome kids! Such a fun group and I had a great time photographing them! 3 families, 2 grandparents, and 6 grandchildren. Here are just a few favorite images I wanted to share from or session. Enjoy!

Rachael & Andy: Engaged! - A Sunol Regional Park Engagement Session - Sunol, CA

They say that if you catch the bouquet (or the garter) at a wedding that means you will be the next to get married. I'm not sure if Andy knew it but his days were numbered when he caught the garter at my brother's wedding last November. Sure enough, just a few short weeks later I happened to see a facebook post with Andy's name tagged by Rachael that said, " I said yes!!" and I knew exactly what that meant. You did well, Andy. You did well.

Brief back-story. Andy is one of my brothers best friends and they have known each other since they were kids. They played on the same soccer team all the way through high school and they have remained friends all this time. It's certainly strange to think how times change because now "little" Andy is all grown up now and about to marry the girl of his dreams, Rachael. =)

Once officially engaged it became time to start planning their wedding and when the email hit my inbox from Rachael, I was excited. Their wedding will be in the fall of this year at one of the most beautiful venues around, Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery. It's going to be an amazing time and I'm sure I will see a lot of familiar faces there as well. Last weekend we set out to take some engagement photos for Rachael & Andy at a location that was new to me, Sunol Regional Park. They wanted to incorporate a few things that they both loved like baseball...and their (tiny) little dog, Dexter. It was a fun session for me..like hanging out with old friends. They are so comfortable together and easy going it seemed like it was smiles and laughter the whole time! Looking forward to the wedding, guys!
