Emily & Jason: Married! - A Private Residence Wedding - Santa Clara, CA
The above image ranks up there as one of my favorite images I have ever captured at a wedding. I enjoy the eclectic frames on the wall and the colors but what gets me is the expression on their faces. Can't you just tell how happy they are? I can. =)
Meet Emily and Jason. I have been friends with Jason for quite some time. (Quick Story!) We actually used to work together as installers at Circuit City. He was the fearless guy in the shop who would work on the car everyone else was afraid to. Let's face it, we were 20 year old "kids" rewiring $80k Mercedes..something was bound to go wrong but Jason always stepped up and accepted the challenge.
We kind of fell out of touch as people sometimes do until one day about a year ago I hear from Jason that he has been seeing this great girl named Emily and they are expecting a baby boy(Arthur)soon! They planned to be married after the baby was born so when they asked me to photograph their wedding ceremony I was jazzed to be a part of it. The ceremony was held in the back yard of Jason's families home and I believe it was mostly if not only family members in attendance. Here are a few moments I particularly liked as well as some portraits of the happy couple including a few of the 'Lil Man himself, Arthur. =)
Congratulations you guys and thank you for including me on your special day. I certainly hope to see more of you guys soon! I'm very excited to see what your future has in store.
Enjoy!

Just beautiful! Nice work capturing a casual wedding where both couples were totally in the moment.
