So it's a new year! Curtis and Katie had the honor of being my first session in 2010 and they are getting married later this year. I already know what you're thinking. "Brian, what's the deal with the handcuffs??" Ok, I'll tell you. Curtis is in law enforcement so it only seemed fitting to get some use out of them during the shoot. Ever been handcuffed? Me neither..uh...sorta. =) More on that one later.
We headed out to Saint Mary's College in Moraga where Katie graduated from a few years back to get some fun shots of them on what turned out to be the perfect day. I expected to show up on a Saturday with the place crawling with people and probably a few weddings going on....but the place was a ghost town! We had the place to ourselves so we took full advantage. Below are some of my favorites from the session. Now I have attended as well as shot weddings at Saint Mary's and I have never seen this place without a single person standing in front of it..so call this a "rare" opportunity to grab a shot or two.
And we can thank Katie for her click on this one! Having never been in handcuffs before I decided this would be as good an opportunity as any to experience that. I watch cops all the time, so my wife will love this one. This one's going on the wall for sure. =)
