Jori & Justin: Married! A Palm Event Center Wedding - Pleasanton, CA
Jori & Justin's wedding! I would describe their wedding as one of the most unique experiences I have had so far shooting weddings. Some people will know but I myself was married at The Palm Event Center back in 2006 and while I have had the opportunity a few times to photograph weddings there since then, this wedding takes on an entirely new dimension for me. You see, this is the first wedding where I can say that I have known the bride since she was 9 or 10 years old. Jori is the youngest of 4 and the little sister of one of my best friends..who's wedding I was a groomsman where he married another one of my best friends that I have known since grade school. The bridal party consisted largely of other family members and friends almost all of whom I have known for many years(many of which have photos on my blog). Jori's mother is responsible for all the flowers and I assume in large part responsible for the unbelievable details and decor. Jori's brother and my friend, Chris, was asked to perform the ceremony! When they told me that I knew there wouldn't be a better person for the job and I was right. He did an amazing job and I would be willing to bet this won't be the last wedding he is asked to perform. ;-) This truly was a wedding supported by family and most of all, love.
Jori & Justin's ceremony was held outside with the beautiful vineyard behind them which was just at that perfect stage where the leaves are beautiful and full of color. I spent the whole day almost start to finish with them and the day went by for me in a flash. This wedding will go down as one of my most memorable because even though I was behind the camera and running around all day, I got to watch a family friend who I have known since she was basically a little girl grow up and get married to the man of her dreams. That's you, Justin. =)
Below are some favorites from the day. I didn't count but I believe this post contains the most images I have ever posted for a wedding. Please enjoy the images and congratulations once again to Jori & Justin! Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your big day. Enjoy~

It's at this exact moment the Jori's father, Mark, whispers to Justin "Your fly is open" HAHA! Later, Mark tells me that Justin said to him after a moments hesitation, "Uh, thanks". =)
