Mimi & Will: Engaged! - A Berkeley Marina Engagement Session - Berkeley, CA

It's not that often that I get to photograph an engagement session in January. Usually it's raining or cold but this year it has been neither of those things.

Mimi & Will chose to have their engagement session at the Berkeley Marina which is basically the westernmost portion of the city of Berkeley right on the water. If you walk to the very end of the pier you almost feel like you could swim to San Francisco. I know this because we walked to the end of the pier and believe me when I say, it's much further than it looks. =)

I had a great time getting to know Mimi & Will during their session. They even brought along their adorable little dog, Penny, who of course we included in some photos as well. Just a few short months and the wedding will be here! Please enjoy a few of my favorite images from our time together that I have selected to share!

It has been a very busy year and for that I am very thankful! So busy, in fact, my poor blog has been completely neglected with posts. =( The last couple of months have been jam packed with holiday family sessions and a few weddings that I eventually hope to have time to share. =) My daughter in about 2 weeks will be FOUR years old and I absolutely do not know where the time has gone. We are so excited to see what 2014 has in store and I sincerely appreciate all of my clients..past, present, and future! I look forward to making it a great 2014..I hope you will be a part of it!!

Rachael & Andy: Married! - A Casa Real At Ruby Hill Winery Wedding- Pleasanton, CA

They may not agree on a team to root for but they certainly agree that they love baseball and more importantly they love each other. =) Last weekend Rachael & Andy tied the knot at one of my favorite venues in the area, Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton. Such a beautiful venue and fall is like the perfect time for a winery wedding. Rachael & Andy's anniversary is now just TWO DAYS before my own personal wedding anniversary. I mentioned when I posted their engagement pictures <---- that Andy was a long time friend of my younger brother so I really was excited they chose me to photograph their wedding. There were definitely some familiar faces in attendance as well as in the bridal party(my brother included). I didn't really know Rachael prior to meeting her last year and it has been really fun to get to know them as a couple and I'm excited at what the future has in store for them!
