The Holmes Family - A Family Portrait Session - Dublin, CA

Well, it's that time of year again where the clocks change, the leaves fall and the holidays are trying their hardest to sneak up on us. =) It's a great time of year to get out and update those walls and send out some holiday cards with some new family portraits and that's exactly we're workin' on here! Meet Courtney, Sean, Aiden, and Mason. The Holmes family!

Todd & Kelly: A Maternity Session - Dublin, CA

It's not all that often that I get the chance to put good friends in front of my camera. Todd & Kelly are affectionately referred to around here as "Uncle Todd & Autie Kelly" by my daughter Chloe and in just a few short weeks, they will have a daughter of their own to love & care for. =) We decided to get together last week to capture some portraits of these two at this special time in their lives. I am so totally excited for these two to experience all the amazing things that are surely in store. I'm sure they are nervous but I also know they are going to be the most amazing parents. I cannot wait to meet their little girl, Cora.

Joel & Katherine: 40 Years of Marriage! - Hayward Japanese Gardens, Hayward, CA

Take a good look folks, this is what 40 years of happiness and love for each other looks like! Meet Joel & Katherine and their 40th wedding anniversary is just around the corner. They have a daughter(Leah, who's family I photographed last year) which means they also have a son in law(Chris) and 2 adorable granddaughters, Bella & Margot. Photographing this session really gave me an appreciation for all the weddings I have been a part of(either as a photographer or as a guest). Just one day before I photographed Joel & Katherine I actually photographed a wedding(one post below this) and to think that couple could very well be the next "Joel & Katherine" 40 years from now, that's really nice to imagine. =)

For our session we headed out to the Japanese Gardens in Hayward which Joel & Katherine used to visit often with their daughter when she was young. They wanted to have some photographs to celebrate their 40th anniversary as well as include their daughter Leah and her family. Here are just a few of my favorite shots from our session together. Jeremy, Kelly, Lauren, & Trevor...(& Dylan & Floyd) - A Family Session - Dublin, CA

When I first met Jeremy & Kelly it was for some holiday portraits and at the time their family consisted of the two of them and their two dogs Dylan and Floyd. Fast forward to today and they are now (technically) a family of 6 including their adorable now 2 year old daughter Lauren and her 4 month old baby brother, Trevor. The amazing thing for me is simply how quickly time goes by. I photographed Lauren when she was just 1 month old and at the time my daughter was just a few months old and within a blink of an eye, she is an adorable little 2 year old and now also a big sister. Pretty amazing.

We set out to take Lauren's 2 year photos but also wanted to include some 3 month pics of the little man Trevor and of course a few of the entire family as well. Little Lauren I must say stole the show. She is so full of energy(as I find most 2 year olds are) she just loved to run around but she did it with a smile . =) I seriously could post every picture I took. Little brother Trevor smiles more than any baby his age I have ever encountered and when you put it all together you get this awesome little family. Jeremy, Kelly, Lauren, Trevor, Dylan, & Floyd. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you guys in the future with these cute little buggers but for now here are some of my favorites from our session together.

Cousins! - A Family Session - Emerald Glen Park - Dublin, CA

Everybody please welcome back Kaitlyn to the blog! It wasn't to long ago that I was posting her ---> 2 year session <--- and here she is back for more!
Last weekend Kaitlyn's cousin Ryan was in town for a few days. We planned a session to take some photos of the two of them together and Carol(their Grandmother...who I don't think wants me to actually call her a "Grandma"..sorry!) also wanted to get some updated pics with her grandkids. It was an absolutely gorgeous day at the park..the kids had fun running around and I had fun....chasing them! =) Got some great shots to share and here are just a few favorites from the session.
